Dating to approximately 70–66 million years ago, this skull illustrates the anatomy that made Mosasaurs apex predators of their ecosystem. The specimen consists of approximately 89% original skull bones from Prognathodon, with the remaining elements restored using real fossil bones from other Mosasaurs for structural integrity.
