Monster Mosasaur Skeleton – Museum Quality Fossil

Paleontology at Its Finest:
This premier display is a museum-grade, composite Mosasaurus skeleton. It measures 6.25 meters (over 20 feet) and is constructed entirely from 100% genuine fossil bone.

Authenticity & Preparation:
Approximately 65% of the skeleton consists of original bones from one individual. The rest has been complemented with fossil material from the same species. Therefore, this professionally prepared mount achieves anatomical completeness and meets museum standards.

Age and Origin:
This extraordinary fossil dates to the Late Cretaceous period. It is approximately 70 million years old. Our team unearthed it from the Phosphates of the Oulad Abdoun Basin in Morocco’s Khouribga Province.

Species and Significance:
The specimen represents Thalassotitan atrox. This was one of the most formidable mosasaur species. Its sheer size and exceptional preservation make it a significant fossil. Consequently, this skeleton is a definitive piece for any major collection.

Extraction Process:

Our dedicated team of experts spent nearly ten months meticulously extracting and preserving this fossil.

Through advanced techniques and a commitment to maintaining the fossil’s integrity, the result is one of the best-preserved mosasaurs ever discovered.

Significance and Appeal:

Not only is this fossil a remarkable specimen of a mosasaur, but it is also a prized piece of paleontological history. The Thalassotitan atrox was a dominant marine predator, and this fossil offers invaluable insight into the marine ecosystems of the Late Cretaceous. Its exceptional preservation and considerable size make it a must-have for any serious fossil collector or paleontology enthusiast.

Collectibility and Appeal:

Acquiring this fossil means adding a piece of prehistoric history that stands out for its rarity and significance to your collection. Whether you are a seasoned paleontology enthusiast, a collector of dinosaur fossils, megalodon teeth, or ancient shark fossils, this Thalassotitan atrox specimen is an extraordinary find.
